This is a brand new bracelet from a purchase of vintage old dead stock inventory that originated from The Nature Company stores that closed in the 90s. Original tag is still place but store info has been removed. Original price on tag is $299, however that price is roughly 30-35 years old and the cost of sterling silver has increased well over 6.5x since , but more importantly the price of moldavite has increased even more since it’s a rare material getting harder and harder to acquire and only found in the Bohemia of the Czech Republic.
These are indeed 5 natural pieces of moldavite. I was 99% positive when I first viewed the bracelet, but also remembered the Nature Company stores having a good reputation of quality gems and materials. I also had a few professionals we know in the industry take a look so I could be 100% certain and stop second guessing myself. Total weight of bracelet is 16.58 grams. Bracelet is size adjustable, and measures from 6.5 inches up to roughly 8.5 inches in length with a toggle clasp. You’ll notice some of the moldavite stones are rough on the backs and some are slightly polished which is normal when working with moldavite in jewelry. Moldavite can even be cut into gemstones sometimes.
I couldn’t find a 925 purity stamp anywhere. I’m sure it’s somewhere but it was just easier for me to acid test to be 100% certain of the purity. I posted a photo to show the bright red color assures this is 92.5% silver or higher.
This is definitely what I would call an heirloom piece to invest in. This same bracelet would normally sell for 2-3x higher in retail than the price on the tag and will be worth more in the years to ahead.
