Beautiful head bust of female in a mottled green and brown glazed ceramic headscarf. Skin details not glazed and could use some touch ups if preferred. Dated 82 on the bottom . Artist “AA”. I hate to tie this to any religions as this was normal attire for women in “biblical” times from various cultures. I’ve seen some of these with an added bindi. I believe these were produced in various colors , faces, styles and textures. This is probably one of the most beautiful ones I’ve seen so far. She would look great on a shelf or table as a statement piece. Anywhere you want to add a feminine focal point with a burst or color. This is what I would call excellent vintage condition. No chips or cracks found. Hollow inside. Ceramic.
