This is a vintage pendant in excellent vintage condition showing some moderate signs of use but still amazing condition. Almost like new with exception of what looks like rhodium plating on the bottom backside that looks worn but still no tarnish. This unique pendant locket is made from with 925 sterling silver that looks like it’s been plated with rhodium. Hinges and locking mechanism are in perfect order. Bale is solidified to the pendant. This seems to have a Maltese cross design on the ornate design, accented with over 9 tiny white / colorless cubic zirconia or glass gemstones. And as I said that , I noticed that there are even tinier ones and didn’t want to spend an extra hour trying to count them all. lolz
Stamped inside is 925 FAS for perhaps (fused alloy silver). I don’t know who made this but what’s also unique in the design is in between the spaces there are openings perhaps meant for scents to be able to come through. This could be used as an aromatherapy locket, or witches ball to ward off evil. It seems a bit Victorian and I wondered if it was something used with scent inside to mask undesirable scents. Total weight is 6.53 grams. This is for the pendant only. Chain not included.
